Database Server has three informational status strings:

Status. By default the status is ON immediately after installation. Each time you boot (or reboot) Windows®, Firebird Database Server starts automatically.

noteNote: AnyLexic Server Administrator, Version 2.0 is no more than a management tool, which enables you to control and monitor Firebird Database Server, and is not the server itself. You can run or close AnyLexic Server Administrator, Version 2.0 without interrupting the online status of the Firebird Database Server itself, unless you explicitly stop or start your Database Server.

Location. In AnyLexic Server location is always "localhost", i.e. AnyLexic Server Administrator, Version 2.0 software indicates that it is running on the same PC where Firebird Database Server is installed.

Version. Version of Firebird Database Server, which was installed together with AnyLexic Server Administrator.

It is not recommended to install newer versions of Firebird Database Server unless newer Firebird Database Server version is a part of newer build of AnyLexic Server Administrator setup. We will thoroughly test all future versions of Firebird, their proper functioning with AnyLexic Server Administrator, and will include newer versions of Firebird Database Server into new setups of AnyLexic Server Administrator. Voluntary updates may cause unstable operation of AnyLexic software and will make support more difficult.

Connections. Displays the number of currently active connections to Firebird server. Click List button to view details on these connections, like IP address, host name, and time of connection.
