Simple search

Simple search can be used to find entries by specifying text string which should be contained in a source term.

1. To start simple search, in the Search text box, enter symbol, word or combination of words and click Search button.

2. Search results will be displayed on the Search Results tab.

Advanced Search

Advanced Search can be used to find entries by specifying several search parameters.

1.To start advanced search, click + button next to the Search button.

2.Search parameters panel will appear under Search field.

3.Define criteria of advanced search:
source/target – search location. Select whether to search for the required item among Source or among Target Entries.
and – additional search parameter option. Select this check box and enter additional search string in the field next to it.
whole word – search term represents a whole word. Select this check box if you are entering the whole word to search for any entries containing this particular word.
exact-match – search for an exact match of entered search parameters. Select this check box if you wish to display only results which exactly match the string you entered.

 

AnyLexic, Version 2.0 memorizes the last 16 searched words, to use them in auto filling.
