AnyLexic Server is used for sharing a common database of dictionaries within a group on AnyLexic users. Database on AnyLexic Server can be accessed through local area network or through the Internet using AnyLexic Client (AnyLexic, Version 2.0). AnyLexic Server Administrator is used for basic database management of Server Database, as well as for assigning different access rights to different users.
AnyLexic Server operations are performed with the help of AnyLexic Server Administrator, Version 2.0. It is purchased, installed and run separately from AnyLexic Client.
Access to AnyLexic Server Administrator is protected. AnyLexic Client users need to enter the login and password to access it.
Only a user with administrator password can work with AnyLexic Server. There is only one administrator account for each AnyLexic Server. This user account cannot be deleted. Administrator's password and user name can be modified using Users and Access settings.
Note: It is strongly recommended to change the default administrator password. Otherwise any person will be able to login with full access rights using default password.
